Daylilies remind me to take note of my purpose in life and to be faithful to that each day. It is a good thing to focus or refocus each morning if I am to be true to my understanding of my purpose. Even though flowers last but a day, oh, the radiant beauty they share to encourage and brighten one’s way. May it also be true that I encourage and brighten others in their life experience by remaining fully present to each moment, not worrying about the past or preoccupied with the future. Now is the moment I have to shine, so I purpose to shine on.

Transformation

A day in the mountains, reflecting on life, open to new possibilities, longing for growth and personal development, often results in transformation. Change that directs me towards a better day within a better way is refreshing and promise-filled.

Acceptance
Accepting the beauty of oneself, just you, yourself, is a good start towards accepting others for who they are on any given day. Of course, we need to be discerning about ourselves and others to make wise decisions regarding our areas needing revision or complete makeovers, as well as developing healthy relationships.
Appreciate the goodness in you and apply that goodness in all of your relations.
Enjoy the Journey
Some days our path seems so long and lonely. Our view of the exterior events is shaped by the atmosphere of our interior beliefs, thoughts, and feelings.
In these times, seek to reframe your moment, rename your experience, and reclaim your purpose, so that life giving energy is yours to share.
May each day be greeted with eagerness for the journey to begin.
Explore the possibilities and look for the opportunities to grow, make new friends, and share the load to brighten one another’s life experience.
Mountain Moments
A composite of two of my favorite places along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Long range views of the mountains and resting by the waterfall soothes my soul. There is something powerful for me when I spend a few moments completely immersed in the moment while experiencing mountain landscapes. There is a sense of Presence that at once, both relaxes me and challenges me to new growth as a person.
As a Nature Photographer, I am restored whenever I hike with camera in hand and breathe fresh air on the mountain tops or stroll along the riverbanks. I have learned that we need times alone to be fully present with others.
